Thanks GarryF; My co-worker had a T610 eject box, yet he never connected it as he had no time to set it up, so I got it working with my 6600... Just didn't know if something was required on the system side to know an eject box made the system active or not... Good to know you don't need it.
BTW: how has signal integrity been for you from the phone to the BT antenna (meaning, do you get warbled audio ever?)
BTW: Without the eject box, what do you use on an E60 to initiate pairing

NickP,
You mentioned that you have had a Nokia 6600 working with the E60. Did you have to do anything special to get it to work?
My wife has a 6600 and whilst we can get it to pair with the car and make a call, the sound is routed through the phone as opposed to the car speakers.
Regards,
Phil.

I orginally used the the T610 for a few weeks without the box and signal was not so good. I generally find things improve if you have the phone in the snap in adaptor which is what you'd expect.
Things I miss from my old phone kit are the ability to handle call waiting and a signal strength indicator. I also forget to take the phone with me more now as it is hidden away

PhilS; I have a non-public version of the 6600 sw. The in built sw TODAY has issues with handsfree BT profile on most car kits (including the Acura BT). Same symptons. Pairs fine, calls fine, incoming calls fine, but NO audio.
Dial a *#0000# on the 6600 from the phone with the keypad unlocked, What versions you running.
Nokia is "supposed" to have a new firmware build for the phone... I'm checking with some contacts to see if this at all has made it out.
The shortly shipping 7610 sw supposdley has this working (a newer drop of the core Symbian 7.0 support).
