I'm 99% sure that only the SIM card transfers with the 6230.? As a matter of fact, I think that all Nokia phones work that way...

Jay Jay:
Well told dealer story mate.
Nokia 6230i snap-in adaptor: I had one fitted to my E60 530D a couple of months ago. Yep, sixty quid is about right, and it takes less than 10 seconds to fit it.
It's simple but it's a lovely piece of kit: your 6230i snaps in REALLY snugly, the thing pushes down into place with a nice tight quality feeling (once you get one you'll know what I'm on about), and the reception improvement is well worth it. Plus of course your 6230i is getting powered up as you drive.
All phone numbers on the phone transfer onto the I-Drive screen: top stuff all round.
Cheers and enjoy: Andy

I have to say that I have found Damon Hill to be the worst dealer. I have been in about 6 times over the past 4 years - seriously looking for cars, and NEVER has anyone had the courtesy to approach me and ask if I need help. The place always seems deserted and when you do find someone, it seems like a big hassle to help you out!
Sytner BMW on the Stratford Road are THE worst dealer in the universe (maybe). I have heard some horrifying stories about their service dept. from a guy that works there. He said he would never take his own car to be serviced there - and that one of their employees!
There is only ONE dealer that is worth going to IMO, and that is Robert Stern BMW - absolute quality. (in the West Midlands)
We have spend over ?170K there is the past 4 years - I wonder what Damon Hills MD would say if he knew that we would have bought all those cars from him (more convenient for us) if his sales staff had been decent!

My Ride: 530i 6 speed
I got a real kick out of this. The first time I went to a local dealer here, I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and they simply ignored me.
I was waiting for them to send me over to the Kia dealer next door.
Little did they know I was ready to order my 545i.....
