Can anyone help me out here.

I had my RAZR working in my 2006 530XI, which was set up at the dealer. Unfortunately, my old phone died and I have a new identical RAZR. I can't figure out what I need to do with the RAZR to have it link with the iDrive.

Read the instructions no help.

Can someone walk me through the steps to get my bimmer to recongize and find my phone?

To make your phone find the car I believe the car needs to be on the screen where it says activate phone or something like that. I dont remember the exact steps for that but I can walk through it when Im in my car later.

To make the phone find the car you go to the settings menu then click connection, click bluetooth, click handsfree, then click look for devices, click select. The phone will find the car and show BMW#####. Your car should list the phone as motorola. You will then need to entor a code number that will be the same on the car and on the phone. Once you do that on both devices you should be set to go. I hope that helps.
