I have paired my Moto E815 to my E60 and complete phone book transferred perfectly. When I add an entry to my phone book using Cell phone, do the new entries transfer to the car the next time I am in the car with my Cell phone, or do I have to pair the phone to the car everytime I add a name and number to my Cell phone?
Thanks
Thanks

Hold on- AFAIK you only PAIR your phone the first time since this is what pairing?s all about; from then on car and phone connect automatically. The car has no "phonebook", it only gets access to the phonebook of your mobile via BT, so of course it?s always complete.

Sean,
If I understand you correctly, you're trying to use the car as a medium to transfer the phonebook from one phone to another, right?
If that's what you're trying to do, I don't think it can be done. The car can only read entries from a phone, it can't send them back down.

[/quote]Yes, the car (and most things that do Bluetooth pairing) does cache the information locally. But it's just a cache...not local permanent storage of the information. I'm not sure what scenario you're describing exactly, but how I've always been familiar with pairing working is that the phonebook entries you expect to have access to must be present on the device that you're paired with. As you make changes, the changes will be reflected in the vehicle's interface as well. If you're switching from another provider to Verizon, you're going to have to get your phonebook into your Verizon phone. If you're keeping the other phone and only using Verizon with the car, you'll still have to do that...

I am having a problem with my Moto E815. If I am on a call in my E60 and I want to switch the call over to my handset , I follow the funtions of the phone, the call switches to the handset but after a little while it switches back to handsfree mode in my car. I have not touched anything, it is transferred by itself. Has anyone experienced this and is there some type of programming function that I have to do on this handset to keep the call on my cell phone and not on E60 handsfree?
Thanks
Thanks
