Just upgrade from my trusty e815 motorola phone to the Q - it has been a cumbersome transition -
and, unlike my e815, my Q will not communicate with my E60's bluetooth!
and, you can't cut and paste on the motorola q, not to mention the battery life is horrible - if the extended battery isn't significantly better I will probably switch to the RAZR...
if anyone has tips on the bluetooth connection, I would appreciate it!

My Q works great with my 5. There is a button in the settings menu, way deep, but by default IR is on, searching for other Q's to exchange data with. Turn it off. I get a day and a half with light talking/data use, but I always plug it in at night, so who cares. I have a car charger and I put the Q pluged in in the net in the passenger footwell for long trips since bluetooth drains the battery too.
There is also a Q update. Make sure you have it, it makes the signal strength icon show up in idrive.
This website is VERY helpful for Q tricks and tips.

I can't believe how much better the Q integration is with my 530xi than my previous POS Treo700. All 3000 numbers in the idrive phone book!
