I'm currently using a Nokia 6310i - when accessing the phonebook, the up and down arrows on the RH side of the steering wheel function opposite to what would be expected - ie. the up arrow scrolls down, the down arrow scrolls up! The same happens in my brother's E61 using his 6230i therefore I conclude that this is "normal"!

Is it possible to correct this through the i-Drive, or is this something I need to discuss with the dealer? I can't believe it's normal! It was purely by luck that I discovered I could use the scroll facility - entering the phone book at the top and attempting to scroll down gave no result!

I'm convinced the electric window buttons are the wrong way up also!

Pulling "down" on the switch sends the window up, pushing "up" sends the window down
Things were much more straightforward on the e39!

Push down to make the window open, pull upwards, to make the window close.
