What da hell?!
What if you get a real missed call? You won't check it so you'll never know who called you?! :'(
It seems like you guys don't use Motorola phones...?
(I have the triangle on my phone almost all the time. The Bluetooth module in BMWs are made by Moto also, so I'm used to seeing the triangle)

Jet190rs: I don't worry about the missing call in the car. Just check your phone, it will show the missing calls too.
I have Moto V3. Triangle icon means your phone is roaming, I think it's another software bug.
Normally it should show antenna icon.

Well, I think some or most of the triangle stuff is accurate. Even before the Cingular/AT&T combination, both carriers made use of each other's cells - you roamed between the two networks but your phone never told you - and you weren't charged. It was all done to improve coverage footprint.
Even now under the combined Cingular entity, the legacy equipment designations likely cause some subset to be viewed as "alien" by the handset based on who you signed up with.

I like to see the phone icon on too. I even use another phone to call my cell phone and not answering it to make the phone icon appears.

Damn - I checked mine last night and the phone icon went away! I thought for sure you would have to actually "select" the missed call, but just going into that menu clears the phone icon. Now I have to get someone to call me and not answer it! Glad to know I am not the only sick-o out there!

No no, I'm saying your phone -does- know, it just doesn't flash a different network banner on the screen -most- of the time.
