I'm having the "pharding procedure" performed for my "2-door E60" (645Ci).

Since this has to do with E63 and E64 models and this is a BB for E60 owners, I'll simply thank the many generous and active members of this fine BB, and cross-post the thread that's going on elsewhere for the 6-series owners: 6-series thread on Bluetooth retrofit, per the "pharding prodedure"

What's good for the goose (E60) is good for the gander (E63 and E64).
