I knew it was a matter of time before you chimed in again. As I stated twice before, just wait for the later version of the iphone. Greater things are to come. An article a little more than two weeks old is too dated for you.
Well, when you go to the trouble of creating a thread aimed at dissing a product we've never seen, with woefully inadequate evidence, what do you expect?

Not dissing, just clearly stating that like the ipod, better versions of the iphone are to come. So I would wait on spending the $600. You work for apple, or something.

No, I dont - but I do agree that better versions will follow - though it will be a year or so before we see them, and many of the initial suggestions for improvement will come with software updates. Either way, I'll be getting one tomorrow!

Go for it. Not aloud to find faults in a product. But they sure are aloud to over-hype the hell out it.

I don't think a removable battery and more memory can be solved by a software update.

Have fun waiting in line.

Show me another phone with 8Gb? And I've never needed another battery for my Razr, Treo or Blackberry.

As for hype - that's largely down to users , much as it is with just a few other brands with a loyal customer base- including BMW. Show me another tech company that understands how to play the marketing game better than Apple.

Well they say you are supposed to be able to eliminate your ipod with this so-called all-in-one device. What about people with 30 GB and 80 GB ipod. Not even close. Its a matter of time before a larger hard drive version is available. Man you sure aren't going to let me get the final word are ya. This is fun. Now I know how people have thousands of posts. Not hatin man, sure it will be a fun little toy.

Who said it would eliminate the iPod? It's a phone/pda/brower. Just happens to have the benefit of a low capacity iPod built right in. I've already got a 40Gb and 80Gb iPod and the iPhone doesn't come close to replacing them. Rev 2 or 3 iPhone might, but this time round I'm primarily interested in it as a phone.

Acutally that wasn't meant as an insult. A simple statement.

Are you going to use this as a business phone or personal use?
