My Treo 650 was crashing a lot, so I've jumped over to the IPAQ 6515. The Treo connected (with my favorite numbers) to my 2006 525i with no problems at all. Now with the IPAQ, I'm connecting and using the voice commands from the car, but the phonebook won't transfer over. I've done some looking on the Internet and found that people have uploaded their phonebook manually through the SIM card. I can't figure out how to do that. It says that the car won't accept it when I've tried.

Is there anyone who can help?

Thanks.

Are you able to make or receive calls on the HP 6515?

Usually the only numbers that transfer are the ones stored in the SIM card and not on the device (phone, iPaq, etc.)

I'm not familiar with the iPaq but if there's some way to copy specific phone numbers into it's SIM card, you might get them to transfer.

I had the iPaq.

It will not transfer phone numbers, period.

It only works in the Headset profile, also. Not handsfree.

It is worthless with BMW Bluetooth.

I got rid of mine and got a Moto RAZR.

Hi - the Ipaq doesn't support Phonebook transfer so I'd try a device running Windows Mobile 5 like the PPC 6700 device

Can you share your wisdom as to how you got the 6515 communicating with your 5 at all? I have a 3 and cannot get the car to recognize the phone (or visa versa). I start initiate bluetooth on the car and have tried both handsfree and Explore functions on the phone. Help!!!
