Ipaq 6515 pairs, I can receive (answer from I-drive) and I can dial using I-drive keypad or voice commands, but the contacts will not show on idrive screen.
I have been searching and seen that previous ipaqs did not even go as far as this one, so, maybe someone has found a way to synch contacts?
I will have to go back to my razor V3 which workd OK.

I have the 6315 which does the same as yours. I contacted t-mobile & hp, both said phonebook cannot be synced. I put my often used numbers in the redial. Other than that I would go with your razor. I heard they work great. I think I'll end up doing the same.

I can even pair but if someone calls me, there?s no stable connection. Sometimes the caller cannot hear me, sometimes I hear a big noise in the speakers and sometimes the connection breaks down.
First 6515.
But hold on, I?ve got a new CIP, tomorrow I?ll try again, maybe there?s a better connection now.
Did you guys something special to get it working???

I had an iPaq 6315
This model was discontinued due to extensive Bluetooth problems. The HP forums were FLOODED with complaints, and HP would periodically delete all posts about Bluetooth.
It was a huge fiasco.
They eventualy released a ROM update which helped, but it still would not sync the phonebook.
Bottom line, iPaqs will not transfer phonebooks.... and they barely work on HandsFree.
Give it up, and get a RAZR. Few phones work as well with the E60.

I have a Razor and works, nos as good as my previous Sony Ericksson T638, that has been the best ever.
But the Ipaq 6515 starts and receives calls without any glitches with excellent reception, maybe eveb better than the razor, plus it has GPS, but...no phonebook, so it seems is back to tha Razor when I drive my 545i and Ipaq when I drive my wifes SLK until I get tired of swapping the sim, maybe there will be a solution for Ipaq phone book synch.

So from what I can understand, the Motorola Razor is the ONLY phone out right now that will Synchronize the contacts into the I-Drive and will display the name of the contact and understand your command when you say the contacts name for incoming/outgoing calls?
Seems to me then that the Razor sales will quickly began to rise even more since it may be the only phone that the E60 drivers can really use the cars BT features on flawlessly.

No.... the RAZR is not the only phone that works.
But it is among the better phones that work with BMW bluetooth.
