Update on Droid.
Verizon and I came to terms on this past Friday and I picked up the MOTO Droid that afternoon.
First impressions:
It's a "substantial" device [a tad heavier compared to other smart phones but seems ruggedly built].
It's complex and fast - perfectly suited to a contemporary BMW owner!
Plenty of stuff for MODs - FREE! OK so, compared to BMW one out of two isn't bad!
Paired right up, transferred gmail contacts, and dial via iDrive is complete!
:thumbsdown: Took a door ding from some a$$hole mall shopper - Maybe I should have waited until Blue Monday instead of Black Friday to pick up the phone!

That sucks man I hope the screen didn't get scratched up.fyi I bought the privacy screen protector and the touch screen lost sensitivity but works good nobody can see from any angle but you.but decided to take it off and went with the regular screen protector no privacy,touch screen works great.

Has anyone been able to play music off their Eris while in the car by connecting the headphone jack into the Eris or bringing the USB cord and plugging that in to the aux port in the arm rest?
