Same here I am in USA. I have both BMW assist & Bluetooth. I like the BT option very convinient.

I recently got bluetooth installed in my '04 - E60 and it works perfectly, don't think I would want to have another vehicle that does not incorporate this technology.

There is a growing movement going on here in Canada to ban cell phone usage unless one is on some type of handsfree equipment.

I am not understanding the tie in to BMW assist to this thread, can someone please explain. Tks.
