Just paired my Nokia 6310i with a loaner 2004 3 series and it supports SMS, why does my 2005 E60 not!!!!

Seems mad.

Much easier to pair as well.

My T630 doesn?t show SMS. Why?

Everything else works with the phone and iDrive.

AFAIK only the CPT-9000 supports SMS in our E60s

I too believe that to be accurate. No BT system supports SMS in the E60.

At least that is written in the latest (March) German brochure with price lists for BT handy preparation option.

I have seen the same problem with no SMS support for a Bluetooth Motorola V551 - spoke with BMWNA they claim it should. Missed calls do not show up either, interventing calls fail to come up on the display - they are audile though - beeping ... hoping upgrades will capture this...

Hmmm, I have a 05 E60 and paired to a Nokia 6310 also and no SMS.
Strange if it works on an earlier release.

It seems to be a completely different system. Method of pairing is different, method of operation is different, and obviously the display is different. Definately works though, read some messages this morning.
