i need a favour from you members in europe please?

The bluetooth retrofit parts here are very expensive. So i would like to know how much the same parts would cost in other european countries then if they are cheaper, ill will import them.

So please could someone ask there dealer for a retrofit kit for a july 2004 built car withour bluetooth prep.

thank you

p.s. just the parts.

K700i seems to work for some people, but not others. My new k700i does NOT work with the BMW BT. It pairs OK, but then connects and disconneects every 20 seconds with annoying 'bong' noises. No transfer of phonebook either. No idea why it doesn't work for me, but I'm not alone. Several other people on expansys have found the same. Others have found it works perfectly.

[quote name='Olivin530i' date='Aug 21 2004, 06:26 PM'] Have anyone tried pairing up Sony Ericcson's latest K700i ?? Or Nokia's 1 megapixel camera phone N7610 ?

These latest mobile looks great and have cool features? and I am thinking of getting them prior to BT retrofit.

Would appreciate any feedback.? TIA
Hi Olivin,

In this thread:

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?show...9&hl=bluetooth

a chap here has tried it with the SE K700i and it works pretty good.

Thanks Eggz. I must have overlooked this one

As in someone's post, BMW still only lists 4 phones, they would need to keep owners updated. Not unless the engineers are too busy solving other inherent problems and they are missing on a test list .

Catch-up BMW, most of the features we look so much forward to, are actually found in Jap cars for some time already .
