They had to do a software upgrade under warranty for me so that covered most of the cost. They charged me one hour to pair the phone and test, plus the 2 hrs to code and install the aux adapter... With out the warranty upgrade I was quoted 599.00. I believe if your I-drive reboots they will upgrade you under warranty.. to current release of CIP

What dealer are you using in LI. I just had my car delivered last week and I dont have bluetooth enabled. The dealer is telling me its there and that Im going something wrong but I look in the comunicatiosn menu under phone and nothign said antyign abotu bluetooth

I lived on Long Island for awhile and without a doubt Habberstad BMW has got to be the all time worst dealer that I ever came accross. In my opinion they are a bunch of arrogant SOBs that think they know everything about BMWs and most often they have to eat humble pie. If I were you I would find another dealer to get your car serviced and your blue tooth enabled. Good luck.

let me just ask really quick, can you have the phone cradle installed & bluetooth at the same time?
i have the v60ti ... and would like to use it, but then sometimes i';d also like to use one of my *soon to come* bluetooth enabled phones/PDAs ...
