A couple things noteworthy:
- you need to subscribe to at least a $79.99 voice plan, internet, AND a $20 messaging plan
- you can not be an existing AT&T customer, even if you're out of contract (you can't port your existing number)

I've been playing around with my new Bold a little and just discovered something cool -- as with many multi-media devices, the phone came with some "sample" photographs loaded. What's cool is that the first two are high-quality shots of a red 1 series and the second two are shots of a white M3!

Right now, I don't think I'm able to copy them for posting here -- they seem to be locked from sending and don't show up in the media manager interface...

Either way, it looks like BMW's marketing people did another great job in creatively utilizing a non-traditional medium for advertising it's products to the target demographic.

I found an M3 (short) movie on my Bold.
The only option I had to get it from my Bold was with GoogleTalk (sendfile).
I'm trying to upload it here, MP4 is not allowed.

I read that there was an M3 video on some Bolds (I think ones that aren't on AT&T here in the USA.)

My phone came with a video trailer for the movie "Speed Racer"... (would have rather had the M3 vid but the Speed Racer one looks incredible on the Bold's screen! )

So is the Bold worth $300 plus a 2-year contract extension Rudy?....I guess I'm hoping that you can talk me into it.

I have the 1st gen iphone and the screen just cracked in the corner so I'm probably due for a replacement (although my iphone still works) so I was contemplating going with the Bold or just upgrading to the 3G iphone. Everything I do is with an Apple computer so I've really gotten use to the simplified use with the iphone.

Examples:

I add music to my itunes library and the iphone automatically updates with the music when I sync (although I really don't use the iphone for music)
I take pics with my digital camera and the iphone automatically updates with the pics when I sync
....I take a ton of pics and I find this feature VERY nice since I'm often in a situation where I wanna show a pic from either yesterday or a couple years ago. My entire photo library is on my phone.
Safari bookmarks (internet) auto updates too

Is there a way to get this with the Bold? If so, I'd love to re-join the Blackberry bandwagon. I just really don't think the UI on the Blackberry is this user friendly. I use to have the Blackberry Pearl 8100 and I loved the phone, but after seeing how compatible the iphone is with my Mac computer it really ends up being a no-brainer for me unfortunately.

Also, I would assume that all the standard features on the Bold work with the idrive (address book loads, clear call quality, etc...)
