Hi, I have a 2007 530i and a BlackBerry 8700. When I first downloaded my BB to the 530i, my entire address book showed. Now, the 530i only shows A-E in the address list with nothing more. I have about 2000 addresses in my BB 8700. I tried deleting and redownloading my BB to the 530i. No luck.
Any ideas? Would 2000 addresses be too much for the 530i to digest?
Best,

I had the same problem with my PocketPC Phone(s)., I have about 1600 contacts with multiple numbers.
The BMW Bluetooth only has rooms for (if memory serves me well) 350 numbers.
I have not been able to figure out which numbers will be transferred and which won't.
I have come up with following solution:
I use an extra phone for in car use, a Sony Ericsson K750i. This has the added advantage of a snap-in cradle for the BMW Bluetooth. The phone quality of a Pocket PC Phone is pretty lousy anyway, especially in the car.
I have a program on my PC, called Mobile Master, that can synchronize my PC Outlook with the K750i but only if a number belongs to a certain category in Outlook. So what I have done is assign the most used numbers (which I will use in my car) in my Pocket PC Phone (and Outlook) to a category called 'GSM Sync' and only these numbers will be transferred/synced to the K750i. If you keep the total of these numbers below 350 all of them will be transferred to the BMW.
It's a little annoying to have to switch off the Pocket PC Phone section and switch on the K750i everytime you enter the car but it beats wanting to dial a number in the car and finding out it wasn't transferred to the car.
