2004 Bluetooth enabled?

Do anyone know what is involved to enable bluetooth on the 2004 model?

Thanks. My bmw is production 05/04...so it appears that I just need the iDrive updated to enable the BT. I'll check with my dealer on that.

Is the BT better than having the hardwired phone? I know the antenna is extended, but the hardwire cost more for other parts.

I have an 04 with build date 04/04. I just got back from the dealer that did an Idrive update and enabled my bluetooth. It took all day and cost me $240.00, it was pre-wired for bluetooth so it did not require any hardware. Works great!
