to that i've always said coilovers were never meant to be a cheap solution. it has always been reserved for the serious track folks. for those who simply want to lower their car that's what springs were for.

Noise noise noise. You have to also keep in mind people that coilovers were meant for racing applications. That target audience doesn't really care about noise that much. I'm not saying that's an acceptable excuse because many companies have developed a far superior method of adjusting height than using helper springs. Just my 2 cents.

althought those companies do target vehicles that were never meant to be on a track, ie non m series cars
