My Ride: 96' BMW 650I SMG
Thanks a lot guys. 
I think I am going to go with the Canon G10. I did some research and found one for $350 shipped to my door. Hopefully this camera will allow me to take some fantastic pictures, all the point and shoots I had purchased over the years were disappointing to say the least.
Stratus650, your picture with your G9 sealed the deal. Now I have to research lens. I am very green when it comes to the world of photography and thus any recommendations on lens would be greatly appreciated.

I have a canon 40d and a canon S5 IS, just started into the dslr stuff but so far so good and the 40d is working out great.

Canon Power Shot SD800 IS. Great for taking pictures of mods to post here. 
I have a bunch of old school SLR stuff that I don't use anymore, but was pretty into it for a few years. Now I'm just too lazy to drag a whole bag of nothing but camera equipment with me when I travel. Plus, the carry-on restrictions are tighter now.
