I went to a local dealer to check out a used 6 series convertible. Nice ride but I noticed that the seats were power seats the could only mover forward (toward the front dash) slightly leaving an approximately 9-10 inch gap for the rear seat entry. But when I looked into a 6 series coupe, the seats moving forward were manually operated and it has a two-stage forward movement like the older 3 series coupes. The seat would move forward initially and then hindged and lifted forward some more leaving a very generous space (about 16-18 inches) to access the rear seats.

Does anyone with a 6 series convertible have this type of seats? Is it call a sport seat or comfort seat in order to get this feature? or Is it only available in the coupe?
