New 6er M-Sport!
#31
Including myself I have 7 friends that have 6 series. We were all waiting to see the new model. Not one of us is going order it.
Primary reasons:
1.) Styling
2.) Value - much better options in the market for similar $$$$
We all love our current 6's and all are big BMW fans.
Fyi - for what it is worth.....

....After holding out hope for the next 6er, I find myself in the same situation. Its amazing that except for the current M3, there is not a single vehicle that BMW offers that I like or would purchase. The styling is not great at all, and the value went off the charts for some reason. BMW has cleverly, though mistakenly, taken the 6er out of its own segment with the new pricing of the 650i. To purchase a car compariable equipted to my former 645ci, the price has jumped nearly $20K since 2005 It makes absolutely no sense at all, since the 5er did not take any major price jumps, including the 550i. What I believe BMW is trying to do is make the new 640i their volume car, as it is supposed to be priced at basically the same level as the E63 645/650, and the performance numbers basically mirror it, though of course we would be stuck with a twinscrollbs turbo i6, vs a TTV8, niether if which is appealing to me.
I have few options if I wish to stay with the roundel, I can either extend my lease if BMWFS will allow, or buy it outright, or look at the e92 S65. my last option is to say f*em and just cheap out and buy the F30 for a few years while other options become available..i have till Jan to decide so little time until I have to make a choice, but unless I was to be offered an amazing deal well below msrp on an F1x 6er, I dont see it as an option..
what are you and your friends looking to do after the e63?

What's the problem?? Keep the E63 M6 forever! It's an instant classic thanks to the V10
I happen to think the new 6er is awesome, and it's a great value, just not affordable. Hey, it's not supposed to be "affordable". As for the styling, I absolutely love it!

I finally saw the new 6er with M Sport pack on the road yesterday - deliveries must have started - it looks absolutely stunning! I couldn't help but compliment the driver with a thumbs up What a stunning car!
