Guys! You know what I consider shameful afterthoughts on just about all the F-series M-sport packages? The rear diffuser and those 19" wheels - style 351, is it? But - especially in the case with the M-Sport 650i Coupe - the car is so gorgeous that I'm totally not fazed by those two. And for the record, I think the coupe looks significantly more statuesque than the vert. Otherwise, this car is a very coherent design IMO. Maybe the best since the E92. I only wish I was a baller...

Not really diggin the rear too much, the front end is fine with me. I had the opportunity 2 days ago to test drive a 650i during the Team USA event at my dealership. I'm AMAZED at it's performance. Nice acceleration (0-60mph in 4.9 sec), and I slammed the brakes from 60mph-ZERO and the vehicle stopped within 2 car lengths

It felt a little cramped inside for tall people (and I'm just 5'11") but aside from that, they did a nice job on this new 6.

I was actually kidding - in my case, I'll be better off just building on the career I already have.

But to negate what you said and inspire anyone, who may be seriously considering this, here's a story of someone I was once rather closely related to. Short version: a woman with two teenage kids came to Brooklyn, at age of 38 (I may be off on the age, could have been 35 - that I'm not sure about anymore). Both kids in school, husband still in Russia, helping out with whatever he could send financially. She worked in a medical office as an assistant, later as nurse when she got her certification. All along, going to medical school full time for something like 10 years and then completing residency. By the time she was on her paid residency, her husband wasn't working, and she was supporting herself, him and their nearly college-age son. During the last month of her residency, she was offered a quarter million per year job. She took it, although she could have gotten more elsewhere. Last time I saw her was about 2003-04, and from what I know, she's still a doctor, still doing what she loves (yes, she does love it actually). She's now probably in her early 50', making, I'd imagine, well over 500k/year, not counting investments and all the additional opportunities. So is it worth it? If this is your real calling, GO FOR IT! No matter what age.

2013 2013 2013 2013 quick quick quick - this new F13 M6 will be the best F-coded BMW in my opinion! I think this new 6 Series is the real evolution to the E60! At least the front! Actually... I quite like the F01 7 Series front as well ^^;;

Just drove the 650i vert at the Drive For Team USA promotion. The power is sick--really pushes you back in the seat--I mean PUSHES you back in the seat. And this was at 6,500 ft elevation in Colorado Springs, mind you.
