Charcoal filter removed!

Has anyone removed there charcoal filter from the airbox and noticed a BIG throtle response difference?? I decided to removed it last night and took the car for a spin, and wow...the car feels a lot faster now from the quick throtle response.

Yup its a good mod, did it when I first got my car, I also added a KN drop in filter, good combination, lets the engine breatheee.

Does it feel even better with the K&N filter or no? How much did it cost? Thanks!
Contact member nerweezy for the k&n filter.

First mod I did with my car in the middle of night. Actually, first night I discovered e60.net family I recommend it.

I had a sprint booster in my Clk500 and it messed up the tps sensor? Not 100% sure how but the sensor went bad a few weeks after I installed the sprint booster.
