I just did it too. Pretty cool mod and it only takes like 5-10 minutes. Just drove around for a bit to see if there is a difference. It seems like it is slighty faster but that could be just in my head. What I know for sure is that the throttle is a lot more responsive and smoother. Also the sound of the engine is definitely louder past 2k rpm.

What I'm wondering is since we are pumping more air into the engine, would that decrease mileage? I'm guessing yes?

I think mileage would actually increase no?

Will this effect the engine, besides the mileage you guys speak of? Any long term effects?

Euro-spec cars do not even have this filter from the factory, so no worries
