With the debut of the new G30 5-Series, there’s no question as to which car gets the starring role in BMW’s new short film, “The Escape.”

Details about the all new G30 5-Series have finally been announced.

We only have silhouette images and small peeks of sheet-metal, but the new 5-series is about to officially break cover.

G30. Sounds as if it’s a potential name for a future Infiniti, doesn’t it? Well, it’s not. Think German, as in BMW. More specifically, think the next 5 Series, which is known within the halls of the Teutonic automaker’s headquarters by those three characters. Check out photos of the next 5 after the jump.
