Massive V10 M5 Exhaust Compilation
The 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10 out of the E60 M5 is one of BMW’s best sounding engines of all time. It revs practically into insanity, and delivers an acoustic experience that is mostly relegated to that of old Formula racecars. Yet, the M5 has four doors, comfortable seats, and a stereo that you can turn on, although we’re not sure why you’d really want to, considering the sweet music coming out of the back end.
Thanks to a recent thread on the 5series forums, we came across the video below that pulls together all the best clips of tuned and stock E60 M5s from across the Internet. It includes some absolutely ridiculous clips of the V10 M5 stretching its legs and sounding like almighty hell-fire as it roars past.
I defy anyone to find a better sounding BMW exhaust anywhere on the planet. It most likely represents the last great BMW exhaust ever to be built, especially with the advent of turbochargers going onto everything in the BMW lineup.
