Leaked! 2014 BMW M5 facelift

BMW accidentally posted official images of the facelifted 2014 M5 on its website, when the configurator was updated ahead of schedule. The current M5, which initially went on sale in 2011, receives very mild updates. The grille is modified to incorporate double vertical slats (like on the M6), rather than single ones; the headlights are marginally different too.

Inside, the steering wheel is adapted from the M6 with thinner spokes and a smaller center. Also, the iDrive is now touch sensitive but the rest of the interior remains essentially unchanged. Drivetrain will remain the same except for the addition of the Competition Package. Pricing remains unannounced but should stay the same or creep up very slightly from the current price of $90,200.
