hello there i'm new to this , and i been trying all ways round this all day , either i'm missing something or it just don't work with vista any help would be appreciated , i'm trying to add speed camera's to my bmw professional sat nav , i have followed all instructions but i think i missed something , or i am too ineperienced , but i'm not stupid , or scared to try please help

i have downloaded the latest 2009 pro disc nad added the speed camers but when i go into the information on the sat nav in the car the euro speed cams comes up bitut how do i activate them i have gone search on 20 mls but comes up nothing found
any ideas ?

problems...i'm waiting to receive some files from one friend that are edited with pimpmynav to add to 2009-2 pro.
then you can see the speed cameras like POI's, i download today the last database of speed cameras in Europe, something like 26500 speed cameras.

Has anybody managed to be able to filter custom POI's they have created using this pearl createidxurl.pl method?
Confused? Allow me to explain.. On the preloaded POI's you can for example in restaurants search for everything within (say 25 miles) and a big list appears. This works with custom POI's also, hence we get the speedcams on the screen.
However, in restaurants you can type in the text field McDonalds if it is within the selected range, and only the McDonalds would appear etc in the 'list'.
For custom POI's created using perl i cannot filter out in this way, despite replicating an entry in the general list, it says no results found.
Is this the case for everybody else, and if so has somebody managed to update the perl script to address this limitation at all?
For a better idea of what i am on about, look at the linked pdf, the very last page step 3, will produce no results. (Unlike these people with postcode searching, so it can be done

Is there a way to change the language of the nav DVD? I am in the US, but I prefer my nav instructions to be in German. I still have a copy of my old EU Navteq DVD - and I tried messing around with files and burning the image to one disk (getting rid of Spanish and French - keeping English and German) I burned it all to a disk but my US car could not read it. Part of the problem might be that I am on a Mac?

Hi,
I'm qualorga ansd i used the Mathmos méthod do create isd with perl program createidxurl.pl.
It worked fine for 10 years.but I think perl create idx url dont work with windows 10
Note : I always got my 330D E90 (140000 km) since 2006 cause I'm 64 years old and I m retired. And now i drive only a little cause I stopped working at the end of 2012. Does dear mathmos could help me for kind of after market services (joke)
