I was driving home late last night when a MB SL55 AMG pulled up next to me. Two lane h-way (Rt 3, JXTC). He touched the accelerator to let me know he was there and it sounded like a damn NASCAR ride. What an amazing, throaty, growl. I immediately punched it up to about 100mph and he, obviously, stayed right on my tail. I realized he had his wife in the car and wouldn't be interested in following me much faster while I was dodging and weaving through some light traffic. I was right...he flashed me when I got further ahead to say goodbye. That beast is 490HP with 516/torque...if he wanted, he could have had me for lunch. Makes me wish I waited for the M5!!!

I'm with ya' H2O, maybe we can get a package deal with Gallery Norwell, maybe two for the price of one. HaHaHa yeah right!!!!! Anyways talk to your neighbor see what you can do, maybe over dinner?

It is true the 55 could suck you up but as you know Rt. 3 is tight (until the 3rd lane opens) so unless it's open road it comes down to brain cells, or lack there of. "The guy with the biggest testicular fortitude wins" Nothing crazy of course

I was fully prepared to use my brains over his brawn...until I saw he had his wife with him. Hey, we're going to be by tonight with another couple but no need to do anything special regarding seating...I'll make sure to say hello...

There is always something faster out there. You would have to change cars every few months and have unlimited cash to keep up. Still happy with my 545 SMG.
