i dont have any comparison pictures but look at the comparison between MTEC V3 and HID angel eyes. Almost same brightness!

Passenger side MTEC V3 and Driver side HID

yes it will fit the X6. BMW may void your headlight warranty. As usual, mod at your own risk but I really havent seen any problems with the dealership with upgrading lights.

Hey John -

I installed the AE's and they were totally plug and play; no error codes at all. I had a quick question - I see a lot of flicker when the lights are starting up and turning off (when the OEM bulbs would normally dim) - is this normal? See the 20 second and 40 second mark in the video here:

Also, sometimes the lights come on as DRL's when I unlock the car and sometimes they don't. I have the light switch set to "A". Is this normal for it to be inconsistent?

Is it that perceptible with your eyes? The camera is going to pick up the oscillation whereas your eyes might not be able to see.

It's very noticeable - the camera actually makes it look a LOT less. There's even some noise (like clicking noise as it turns on while it's flickering).
