Im interested in buying this but i was told that i dont have an aux input in my car. Its april 2004 built with nav. Would i be able to utilize this product?

 

You can still install the back up camera kit without AUX input on your car.

AUX input only requires when you want to have video playback feature, such as DVD player or iPhone/iPod.

I upgraded to my e60 from a mask to a lci ccc. Would there be any problems with the install and rear camera?

I am selling my entire kit for 400 obo shipped. Let me know if anyone is interested. It has worked very well, but now I am moving to a CIC.

 

how is the camera mounted? cutting required?
also, is there a split screen option so you can still have video playback and nav going on at the same time?

 

No cutting required unless you are driving a manual transmission. The camera is part of the trunk handle (http://media.photobucket.com/image/m...w/c827203c.jpg) and fits in very well (http://home.comcast.net/~mentholguy/cam/v11.jpg)

I can't say much about the split screen as I have the 6.5" screen which does not support splitting of any kind.
