so does this fit the non M with M fenders like mine? or is it like going back to when the M bumper was slightly off when mated to non M fenders?

It should fit with M fenders. in the pictures of Joe's e60 on the first page, Joe has carbon fiber M5 fenders

Does this mean it will mount up to an M5?

I don't get how it'll fit a regular E60 as well as an M5 without any fitment issues when the fenders are different between those two models. Some slight modifications need to be done right?

ECF, Im pretty sure the fitment is not great with M fenders, as showed on Joe's car with the CF M5 fenders. There is a slight gap. It should mount up fine with non M5's fine, I hope. Correct me if Im wrong, the modification needed would be the opposite of adding an M5 front bumper to non M fenders.

^^^^^this is what i was thinking, slightly off like when M5 bumper is installed on non M5 fenders due to the flaring of the M5 fenders.
