Referring to this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-5-SERIES...item43a9e8468a

Seems rather promising by the specs, though that's always just part of the story.

Further illustrating that we don't want to rush it is how skeptical people would be if we put out a 10W solution and it turned out to be crap, like the eBay stuff.

Hopefully tomorrow we'll be able to show you full Beta examples and by late next week we will have the first of a few samples for H8 and pre-LCI as well (going to try to time both for same day release).

We've already played with it. It's no brighter than the V3 we carry. It's not even as bright as the V5. The reason for this is the poor design of the projection/lens in the unit.

Additionally, there is no internal fan on it, so it will burn out within 6-9 months due to cooling issues.

See above.

They aren't impressive and the "5W" they are using is a RaceDash 5W, which isn't even as bright as the Mtec V2.

I cant believe how impatient some of you are... this stuff takes time... no proper testing = a product that is either inferior or one that will melt/burn/ruin your current very expensive headlamps... or one that will burn out in weeks or months. I have the MTEC V3's and cant wait to see the comparison shots.

Now thow a pair my way!!!

Please post some good shots when you have them.
