Meh... you guys should just state what you're trying to achieve. These PNP bulbs, while each version they're getting slightly brighter/better, realistically, due to the design of the factory rings, it's just not going to get that much brighter.

If you want to achieve the level of brightness say from this thread: https://5series.net/forums/topic/119...st__p__1405466, you need to just bite the bullet, spare the expense and do the Orions. Now, whoever took those pics must've used a certain particular settings to capture it that way, but this is actually one of those exceptions where the angel eyes are brighter than the pics. Just ask Justin... he's pretty happy with it, lol.

Finally got it installed today after getting it for almost a week. I must say i am very happy with the result as i m having a 5w ones earlier. i can still see the ring even thou my xenon are on and without the xenon in night time, its very bright. I cannot expect much from day time and anyway i do not have AE as DRL so i am pretty fine with it. Guess this is the best i can get for PnP AE. The only thing i notice is that at certain angel, the inner ring is more whitish the the outer ring. Am i seeing thing?

Also when you guys change the AE, does all your wires inside starts to peel off? Mine peel off big time....

I stand corrected:
I think the sensitivity of the connector problem may have happened to me. Today while driving, my front right lamp error cane on. Upon check, the right side AE did not light up. I hope its the wire connector n not the AE itself. I was using rdash for the last 6 mth n it was ok. Will secure it this time round. Hopefully it works.

Hi units a, when you state that the ae will not strobe at startup, u mean putting the light at auto right? If at off, it will still strobe?

It will not strobe at all.
it has to do with connections.
