Thumbs up

Hello I recently bought a 08 e60 and the previous owner smoked in it. What is the best way to get rid of the smell. Looking on the web a few have said to boil onions in a crock pot? others have said OZONE machine? I checked with the only detailer in town here that has a ozone machine and he wants $250.00 seems real high. Please help I tried Febreeze but only last for a few hours and then the smell is back. I would appreciate any info.

If you like coffee, you can try putting a bag of coffee beans under you seat. This will overpower the smell of smoke.

http://www.airfresheners.net/ I occcasionally do side jobs, then wash the customers cars, and insert these (jasmin). Note I got 2 boxes of these free from the car wash next to new century bmw ( where I was previously employed ). 3 people have asked me where I got these and now love it. It is certainly cheaper than $250.. and thier great (each wafer lasts about 9 days), 1 under the seat is certainly more discreet than 1 dangling from the rear-view mirror??....LoL
