My Ride: 95 M3 CAI, chipped, pulleys, Xbrace, doesn't give headaches every time I start up!
04 545i all the goodies INCLUDING HEADACHES!
I did this mod this afternoon. it took about an hour.
You'll need to unwrap the wire bundle to free up enough wire to reach the fender well.

My Ride: 2005 545i, Silber-grau/grau. Vanilla flavored except for cold WX pkg.

Folks, I've been sitting here thinking about the location of that MPM - I'd suggest that you immediately remove it away from the battery (and the explosive charge located in the emergency disconnect cable). My reason is simple - these modules can and have failed, and some fail in very dramatic, explosive fashion. I don't want to fathom what this could do if it happened close to the explosive charge, or if hot liquid plasic hit the battery:
