Hey fellow n52 engine peeeps (06-07 530i, 08- 528i)

First there is a new tune out from Gintani-I have not got it yet but several people have and has really good reviews and solid dynos that have proved up to 15-20hp gains in the mid range and 10hp peak gains. The rev limiter is upped to 7300 which is a common practice in the aftermarket, especially with M cars--so if you have a 530i with the 255hp--your car will be as close to an M engine you will ever get without a non-m engine-This is exciting option--these engines are rev happy and will sound great!

This is the first tune of the many out there that actually tunes the valvetronic and increases valve lift by 3 percent as well as optimizes it for the higher rev limit so it makes a nice peak power gain above 7k. Should have a really sweet engine/exhaust note at 7300, especially with a RPI exhaust which I also reccomend.

2.Gintani is also coming out with a Supercharger system which should be priced around 4k which will be very reasonable. It will initially come with quite low boost and put out 40-50 extra hp/torque-so nothing crazy because unfortunately our automatic tranny's only are made to handle 300 foot pounds of torque--so that is the limiting factor. Not to mention the magnesium engine block that has never seen foced induction--bmw chose not to use this block for their FI cars for a reason--so it is a cautious supercharger project to maintain reliability-but nonetheless is supposed to be out near christmas or the new year. It will also be a DIY that you can do at home quite easily

I am waiting the new tune-I have been a VERY happy pbx owner and it absolutely made my car so much more fun and alive-I would not hesitate for a second buying a pbx but I am more interested in having my revs upped and tuned accoridingly.

So finally some stuff for this engine-been a long time coming. Butthis has the potential to be a real winner as the n52 is signifigantly lighter than the TT versions so this FI option will put it at or above the 535s (stock with no tunes)--so a nice option if you like yoru n52 engine and car but just want a bit more pep

Stuff sounds EXCITING

Keep us posted -- Hope the Gintani Turbo stands to our expectations unlike the ESS stuff a dude on the forum was not happy about .

Could be the best group buy for CHRISTMAS
