Can you be a little more specific about what goes out on N52s? From what I've seen the issues usually hit on 540i/45i/ and the N54 models. Is there anything that specifically pertains to the N52 beyond the water pumps, or is there a resource I can look up.
they will fit but that front tire size might not without spacers, especially if you are on coilovers.
a 225/235 might be a better choice in the front, its not the outside clearance but the inside you have to worry about. if you dont plan on going too low you should be fine but alignment will be a factor.
the rear you can actually go wider. I ran 275/35 10.5+ 20 on my old setup and I was tucking tire. so you can def run a 275 or 285 even if you wanted to. I feel like 275 is a nice balance. and a readily available size
gotcha gotcha, i am going to be running a 10mm spacer up front so i should be okay for 245s. as for the rears im probably gonna op for a 275 now, it seems like 265s and 285s are out of stock everywhere. ideally i only want to be low enough to close up the gaps in my fenderwell, and maybe tuck some tire. other than that it should be pretty conservative.
tucking 18s without a relatively tall sidewall is gonna put you really low to the ground lol. id suggest looking into 19 or 20 if thats what youre looking for.

i meannnnn if im dumped im dumped lol. the only reason i wanted to go with 18s is bc 19s look strange on base E60 aero. i don’t plan on getting a m-sport kit for a while anyways so i think 18s w 35/40 sidewall is fine.
i’ve looked around the site and google, i think without a bumper, 19s stick out like a sore thumb.

good call lol
wheels and coils came in, and i ordered an m-sport bumper. tires go on next week and i’m excited asf lol
so i ended up going with gram lights 57DRs. 19x9.5 +25 up front with a 15mm spacer, and a 19x10.5 +22 in the rear. i'm considering a 5mm spacer in the back, but i want to lower it some more and see how it goes. i did get sent a faulty coilover that doesn't go up or down, so thats the only reason i haven't slammed it lol. planning on lowering the rear maybe another half inch, but i'm happy with how its going so far.
i will say however, next time i need tires i for sure i wanna step down to a 275/30/19 in the rear rather than 275/35/19. sidewall looks fat asf haha. i think the 245s up front are fine
