Default Noob question about 19"s

i'm about to purchase

19"
19x8.5 front
19x9.5 rear

All have 35+ offset.

will this fit my 2004 545i?

Tire set up could be
Front
245/35/19 or 255/35/19

Rear
285/30/19
295/30/19

What would be an ideal set up for the tires as well?

Please help.

Thanks,

wheels will not fit your 545i directly. if you want to have those wheels you will for sure need spacers. those offsets are meant for an XI AWD E60. as for tires for those dimensions of wheels, recommended sizes would be 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.

Offset of 20 is what most wheels in that range that fit RWD 2004+ E60s come with... The lower the value the more pushed out they are.

What about front offset on an E60 with M5 fenders?

No, you need spacers like these. They are hubcentric, but also push the wheel out closer to the edge of the fender.
BMW E60 545i N62 4.4L > Wheels > Spacers > ES#205206 BMW 15mm Wheel Spacer & ECS Conical Seat Bolt Kit - ECS#255KTWB

15mm spacers and longer bolts will give you an effective ET of 20mm (35-15=20) which is good for a 2004 545i.

Ideal tires for your car would be
245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear

Hope this helps.

JP
