Default New tire question

Hey all,

Getting my new wheels/tires this weekend and i had a quick question. Would these work ok on a set of 19's 8.5" in the front and 9.5" in the back? Ive ordered the tires so I was hopin they will be fine. I can always cancel but they were a good deal so Im hoping they are good to go. Thanks in advance

First, there is a "Tire&Wheel" section in the forum, this thread would be better there.
Second, those sizes may rub, especially if you lower your car. Recommended sizes are:
245/35/19 and 275/30/19. You live in SoCal, why the need for such high sidewalls?

Sorry still getting the hang of this form im still fairly new, ill make sure to put it in the right place next time. I dont plan on lowering my car so i was hoping they would work. Just getting a really good deal on the set. Would spacers help?

No worries, welcome to the forum, I am sure our esteemed mods will move it soon enough.
No, spacers wouldn't help in this case (depending on the offset of the new wheels), if they rub it won't rub because they're too wide, it will be because they're too tall. It will be more noticeable if you have passengers in the back seats. If you're getting a deal I say try them out, if you don't like them or they rub get the recommended size on the next set.

Swapped them for Falken FK452's. 245 35 19 in the front and 275 30 19 in the back. Don't want to deal with wrong tires.

Oh, to live in Cali...
I think majority of people here have said they wont be lowering their car and in the end did. thats what im finding. I was happy with ride height. Then i spent to much time on here..

Getting the correct tires is the best option in the end. I have heard some great things about falken tires.

LOL, yep, you're gonna spend some $$$$ now
Springs are good for a while, eventually you will switch to coilovers. Especially since springs will shorten the life of your stock shocks significantly. I had H&R springs on stock shocks, they lasted about 5 months, then I ended up getting coilovers anyway.

Or some member(s) go with 245/40-19 & 275/35-19 for additional cushion.
