So... since I have an E39 M5 which I am considering a big brake kit (which means new rims to fit perhaps) and a 530iXT which is currently running 17x7.5s -- thought it might be cool to transfer the OEM rims/tires onto the wagon? Hate to have the M5 rims sitting in the garage.
Thoughts?

Check and verify the spec for the E39 wheels you have, it's all about high/big offset/ET number for the E60 xi/AWD/x-drive model and also E60 model uses 72.5mm center bore hub size AFAIK E39 bigger so you'll need hub ring.

Thanks -- It's never as easy as we would like....
ET 20 and a 74.1 center bore. Guess they will stay on the M5 until ready for another tire change. I'll concentrate on finding a good deal on used ones for the 530iXT.
Pretty steep learning curve for me here, usually just go stock, but the 530iXt 17x7.5 look like a matchbox toy.
