Nobody has an "4x4 or DSC" warning light after perform a lowering of e60 xdrive ?
My BMW dealer said me that if I lower my e60 i will get several issue on the idrive warning message will appear like :

- "4x4 issue"
- "DSC issue"
- "ABS issue"
- ...

The Bilstein dealer said me there is not problem to drop the e60/61 xdrive

I want to set Bilstein B8 and H&R spring on my 530xd

I lowered mine w/ just H&R Sport springs for over 5 years for over 42K miles and no related issue with anything you've listed.

Take a step back & think about it for a moment, you lowering the ride height so it'll effect something in relation to say stiffer ride for example as you replace the suspension component.

You may wanna ask your BMW dealer to explain what is the relation of suspension part(s) with drive train part(s) such as 4x4 etc and all that.

Now, if your overall tire rotation between the front and rear are not within acceptable margin that may trigger drive train related error such as DSC malfunction.

ok thank.

and what about setting the standard 530d spring on 530xd ?
As you know the 530xd are 2cm higher than 530d, and I think if I set just the 530d spring on my car, it will dropped.
2cm it's enough for me

Or I can set Eibach or H&R springs (-30mm) on my stock damper ?

I had H&R springs and, while the look and handling was what I was going after, the ride became very bouncy. I then paired the H&Rs with B8s and the ride was absolute hell. Not to mention the rear raising up for a raked look. It was just a mess - raked look, consistently harsh ride, and bottoming out often on the bump stops. I ended up with KW v3 coilovers in the end and I would highly advise going with them as well as many others here that took the same path as I did.

So I have a question because now I'm realizing that spacers can help the overall cause of wheels on an X-Drive. While I'm thinking this may help, I need clarification. I love the 19" Style 172 wheels. I have a 10' 535xi, Style 124's, ET 43 front and ET 55 rear. 172's are ET 18 front and ET 32 rear so that's an obvious no. I have 10mm front and 15 mm read spacers. Will that help make this feasible or quite the opposite? Also, how does that affect rolling diameter or do I need 285 rear?

Your help is greatly appreciated

Opposite. A wheel with an offset of 18 paired with a 10mm spacer provides an offset of 8, way too low for our XI cars. XI wheels and spacers on a RWD e60 will work, but no RWD wheels on an XI. Spacers will have no effect on rolling diameter.

That's what I was thinking, thanks Corey. The search continues. Will update when I get news shoes for my XI.
