Hi,

I have a 2008 BMW 535xi, I want to put 20in staggered wheels on it. I was planning on doing 20x8.5 or 20x9 in the front and 20x10 in the rear or 20x10.5. People who I have spoke to it about they said that the key thing for awd is the tires. I wanted to see if anyone has experience with running 20 in staggered wheels for the XI. If so what kind of offset is required and if those wheels will be too wide and what tire size would I need so I dont have an issue with my car?

Same car here.
Are you ready for the no profile tire. I have the staggered set up with the 35 sidewall in the rear. No way would I ever step down to 25s just for the"look'.
My buddy was going to do twentys and I told him he needed to rethink. Go with 19s and call it good.
Not sure about the size tires you are talking about but I have been browsing a bit. A 8.5" front around 32-35 ET and 9.5" rear with 35ET seems to be in the ball park for my needs.
