Default 2008 550i with m5 wheels.?

Hey guys I just bought a 2008 550i yesterday. I have used xoutpost.com forever working on my X5 and look forward to using this site. I'm keeping X5 as beater. Anyways what offset do I need to buy some the m5 staggered 19s on eBay. They say 20 offset both front and rear. Wheels make a car. Once I put staggered 20s on my X it looked cocky. Next will be lighting, hate the damn yellow ae and eyebrow. . Thanks guys and yes I searched unless Im missing something.

To the forum! Congrats on your purchase! I'm assuming your looking for OEM 166's. I am not sure of the offset off the top of my head, but I know you can get the rears in an M6 Offset which is a little more agressive. I would stay away from the M5 reps. The concavity of the rim is just not there. Regarding your lighting options, you can reach out to John at Motorcepts. He is a long time member and one of the resident lighting experts! Good luck and congrats once again!

sounds like you are looking at reps rather than OEM 166/M5 wheels...would you mind posting the size and width of the wheels as well....also on the upper nav bar of this forum there is a "Tools" menu, point your mouse over that then click the Tire/Rim Calculator from the drop down menu...might help as well...

Thanks for your help. Yes style 166 wheels. My main problem is the offset, I don't see a real answer of what I need to order. Basically if I get oem 166 wheels, I need the slightly smaller tire size or it will rub is what I see? What about these 20" replica 166s. They are not 19s like oem but would look sick?
