Max Tire Size on Non-Sport 2007?
It is time for new rubber. My E60 is MY2007 without the sport suspension. OEM tires are 225/50 17 all around. I have done the math and it looks like 245/40 will work fine for the rear. The clearance for the front is tight (inside by the struts) and I wonder if anyone has experience with max size for the front tires. I would rather not go to a staggered setup.
Has anyone gone with bigger tires AND spacers up front, say 10mm, to clear the struts?
