Default 2004 BMW 530 SPORT 19" Tire Size Help - Used Search before posting

Hi Guys,

I've got a set of 19" style 218 wheels off a 6 series that i recently purchased. Looking for some tire size advice. The specs of the wheels are 19x8.5 front and 19x9 rears. offsets are ET14 all around.

A person locally is selling a set of tires 245/35/19 which i think will be fine on the front without rubbing. The rears however are 265/35/19. Factory size is 275/30/19.

Has anyone in the past run 265/35/19 on the rears of a 2004 530 sport before and did you have any rubbing issues?

I couldn't find anything specific on people with a 2004 530 sport package that ran these using the search function.

Thanks

The 265/35 is almost an inch larger (0.8 inch) in diameter than the 275/30. So it'll sit taller into the wheel well. Width wise it is obviously narrower. The fender gap at the rear is usually larger than the fronts so I'm thinking you should be ok. You may already have a couple degrees of negative camber at the rears so that'll help.
