I suggest that the mods quit moving threads inappropriately. The topic referred to above does not mention a "site comment or suggestion." Not was it intended to elicit site comments or suggestions. If someone made one, then it is not my doing.

I request that the thread be moved back to the appropriate forum so that it will get the attention it deserves and so that it won't move off the page prematurely so that others won't see it. As it stands, my point about our very significant interest in performance is being validated very strongly. But, I don't want the opportunity for all to see and to participate in the poll to be diminished.

Cuz obviously right now Iceman will move anything and everything you post. He should not be a mod anymore. he has lost his touch.

Please resign Iceman.

Ditto. Ice has lost touch with many of us and one of the things that the majority of us find to be of high interest--5er performance (and where performance items dealing with 5ers should be posted).

This forum is for everything that has to do with the website itself. This poll is made to SUGGEST the creation of a new forum.

I am not moving everything Znod posts. Why should I?

But if something is in the wrong place it allways was moved and will be.

Don has a problem with me, he has this for quite some time now. OK. I can live with it. I can also live with the fact that now others join him.
But if you guys think about it without emotions... Ah, well... Maybe next week...

Of course... BUT! yes theres always a BUT following

BUT i think you're targeting certain members content / post now. as long as you can twist and turn and dig up any loop hole to say right or wrong... thinking "Oh this doesnt belong here" you'll move it.

Its like if somone (who you're targeting) posts a topic on the main forum asking " should I buy a E90 or a E60 " as long as it had E90 on the title or context of the post you'll go AHHHHH HAAAAAA its talking about E90 it should be moved to the "Other BMW" section... that would be your excuse to move the thread... cuz it had E90 in it... Thats what you're doing now... using any sort of excuse to move somthing.

Nope.

I never did that.

I never targeted anybody. And never will.

You guys are just so bias that you see it this way. But it isn't.

In fact: When I saw the thread in the main forum I almost left it there, just because I thought you guys would then stop to fight with me. But this would simply be inappropriate and would be used against me the next time by the same guys involved in our little pissing match.

There are poeple on our forums with whom I disagree. But it never ever has to do with any moving decission. I don't target anybody. But som are targeting me... for NO reason.

You assessment is completely incorrect Ice. I created the poll because there seems to be disagreement about the quantity and the quality of our membership's interest in performance. As a moderator, I don't think it is your job to decide what the "real reason" for a topic is and to classify it as you see fit regardless of what the topic starter's intentions are stated to be.

You seem to think that I want a performance forum. I think that that is the best solution to our current problem. But, all I want is for members' posts that deal with performance to be housed in the correct place--either the E60 Forum (where they always have been housed) or in a new 5er performance forum. What I don't want is, for example, to see posts where guys get together to test 5er performance to be classified, for example, as meet and greet. Their intention is not to meet and greet. Their intention is to assess 5er performance.
