Hey Iceman and Rudy are VERY reasonable and when they do feel the need to say something it usually changes the way a lot of members post. You are not alone, they spoke and I changed some things I was doing too (they are kind of annoying like that, so damn reasonable it's impossible to argue
)

My 2 cents...The E60 being a mature platform and the forum having possibly covered every question that can come up about this car should NOT be a reason for the nasty attitudes on this forum lately. If someone asks a question that's been addressed many times, a polite suggestion to search would suffice....or just don't reply to the thread if you're annoyed. It's no excuse for anyone to get that bothered to start bashing people. This is frankly not an excuse and I honestly do not think it's the root cause of the problems we're seeing lately.
I've been very frustrated with the forum as well and I feel the blame is on new and old members alike. It's not all on the newbies and the "senior" members are not without fault either.

Wow, well said Tony. I have to say I agree, I am relatively new here, I have (as I have admitted) posted my share of negativity. I think most people are reasonable and like Rudy suggested, if we have an issue with the turn a post takes (whether it be by a "senior" member or noob) we should say so. It is up to us to keep the forum a family and keep members like you and bespoke from going elsewhere.
Not to mention I like looking at your car so you better not go anywhere - it gives me something to strive for
